ISO (International Organization for Standardization)

ISO is an international organization headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland and established in 1947 to develop industrial standards, and is a network of the national standards institutes of more than 140 countries. The abbreviation of the organization is "ISO", not "IOS". "ISO" is derived from the Greek "isos", meaning "equal".

In 1987, the emergency exit sign/mark used in Japan was designated as an international standard by the ISO. As a result, the emergency exit sign/mark is the same wherever you go in the world. In areas related to our business, film speed (ISO100/ISO400) and screws (ISO screws) have also been standardized by the ISO in the past.

ISO 9001 is an international standard called " quality management system"

"Quality management system" is the system to maintain, manage and improve processes, which are the activities to change input to output, to obtain customers' satisfaction.
In order to achieve quality policies determined, Plan is to be set up. To execute and operate the plan (Do), and inspect and examine results (Check), and further reconsider and develop the processes (Action). This is "PDCA" cycle to promote quality activities.

ISO 14001 is an international standard called "environmental management system"

"Environmental management system" is the system for organizations to continue to improve environmental effects.
